Omg wow what a vast improvement! If I was there I'd hug you! He's lucky to have you.

I'd wonder with the water intake, if there isn't something going on. Are any of the meats you buy enhanced?

The raw meat I get I purchase from Blue Ridge Beef | Best of Breed LLC
It's the same place Ellenm gets her raw meat from

it can't hurt to test and get a baseline on his organs just to rule out any organ issues/weaknesses.

I know with Tank he barely drinks from the dish unless we've been at the barn or tracking, or scent detection. He's also always been a weirdo about water intake.
Can't hurt to get kidney function checked, thyroid levels too? If I'm not mistaken either can cause excessive water intake.

Hugz to you and Saul

By mid June Saul will be due for a thyroid recheck since starting meds back in March. I had spoken to the vet after his urine came back clean and neg of anything about doing a kidney and prostate check and she thought it was a good idea to rule them out before jumping to an incontinence issue. It hasnt happened for about a week now. I'm paying close attention to see if there are any behavioral or environmental triggers. So far they only happen when he is worked up.

Now that it's much warmer, after our walks he will do some serious drinking but other than that, he doesn't drink much water. His pee is pretty yellow whereas Markus' pee was almost alway clear and Hera's pee is very light yellow but not sure if supplements are contributing to Saul's color. I know my backyard has a distinct urine smell that it's never had before.
