Hello again, I've done some further research and I think I've narrowed down some high quality breeders I would like to deal with when we pursue a puppy.
1) Raindance Dobes
2) Kettlecove Dobes
3) Marquis Dobes (not sure if she is even breeding?)
4) Magis Dobes
They all seem to be reputable breeders with the beautiful ear cropping I love. Am I missing anybody? We recently had to put down our Belgian Malinois and I know getting a quality Doberman puppy is a bit of a process, so would like to get the process rolling. We would like to take this dog everywhere so temperament is my #1 focus, my Malinois was aggressive so we had to manage her frequently.
We aren't in a rush either, we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and we are expecting a boy come October 1st and to be honest, we could use a bit of time to grieve our beloved Zoey.
The OTHER issue I need to deal with is getting my wife on board with the Doberman breed as shes partial because they look scary, unfortunately none of these breeders are close by so it may be difficult to get her in front of a Doberman, especially doberman puppies
