I'm not impressed. From a look at their puppy page, it looks like a lot of what they are doing is importing and brokering entire litters? And their personal dogs are lightly titled, if at all. While they are doing some health testing, it's incomplete.
To my knowledge, there is only one breeder in West Virginia worth considering, and she breeds very rarely. She does not have a litter planned. Look in surrounding states, instead.
Hi! do you mind if I ask which specific woman you are referring to? I am looking at a breeder in Harper's Ferry, WV called Gladiator Allegiance, and was wondering if they are legitimate. Thank you!
He is very knowledgeable and saved my new puppy. I will be buying from him next time. I took this puppy to a local vet who caused him a severe ear infection in both ears. He gave me some really helpful advice, answering me late at night, followed up, and continued to answered my questions in an in depth manner. He also provided video resources to walk me through some processes. I appreciate his time and knowledge very much. If you buy from him, know that you will be well taken care of following.
Unfortunately, simply knowing what's going on with ears does NOT make a good breeder. There's a lot more to it than that, and he doesn't fit any of the criteria. I would urge you to reconsider this plan, and look for someone who actually knows how to read the Doberman standards.
