Strongly recommend consulting the Breeder referral lists for the DPCA, it's in alphabetical state order, there are plenty of breeders in Cali, so this is a good place to start.
DPCA | The Doberman | Breeder Referral

Second option is the UDC. They don't have all breeders in their directory however if you write to the club secretary, tell them what you're looking for and where you are located they might be able to make a suggestion for you.

This appears to be their A litter - names all have A names. Just a note that the sire himself was only born in Oct 2015, so he was about 10 months old when bred.

In the 2018 studbook, they have 3 litters registered.

Vader di Altobello X Chaleesi Nemesis di Altobello, 9 puppies born February 2, 2018, all of whom were individually registered. This appears to be their F litter.

Vader di Altobello X Arya Freya di Altobello, 4 male puppies born July 22, 2018, all of whom were individually registered. This appears to be their D litter.

Vader di Altobello X Chaleesi Nemesis di Altobello, 10 puppies born July 27, 2018. One of the female puppies was not individually registered. This appears to be the G litter. I don't even fathom how it was possible for this bitch to have a litter again less than 6 months after the one in February.

I'm not sure what they are doing with the letter themes. Usually your first litter would be the A litter, then the next would be B and so on, in alphabetical order. However, I guess you don't *have* to do it that way. I guess that they are just picking a letter and going with it out of order? They are free to do so, it's just confusing.

I don't like that they just keep using the one dog to sire all of their litters. Obviously, he's convenient and convenience shouldn't be a major criteria for breeding. If something happens to that dog, like he passes away young, they've just spread his genes through ALL of their puppies. I just don't think it's a smart way to breed.
Bold mine. That right there would be a deal breaker for me. Absolutely no excuse for breeding a 10 month old puppy. None.

Thank you all for this information and advice. Thank you for the user who posted the breeder resource. I have moved on from Ultimatus. I agree. That is inexcusable and the other users point about spreading a possible issue through so many litters seems irresponsible. The pup I was looking at was from a different sire but based on everything I’ve learned I feel it’s best to go elsewhere. I like to support people who do business the proper way. So glad I sought out this blog. Thanks again Doberman community !

It's very refreshing to encounter someone willing to learn. Please take your time to research/ask questions and click around the forum especially this breeding and breeders section if you wish to learn about ethical and reputable breeding practices as well as learn how to detect the "red flags" that are the hallmarks of an unethical breeder or someone not breeding with the best interest of the breed and dogs at heart/looking only at their bottom line.

The members here will be happy to answer any question you might have.

Good luck in finding the right puppy Jeff.

That is a shocking find of Mary and Dobes! Using a 10 month old as a Stud , the breeder is really rolling the dice. In my mind that could almost be the worst thing I could imagine for someone to do who has a breeding program besides over breeding the bitches.

Thank you for your kind words and helpful information. Yes I agree , it is such an important decision that I don’t understand why so many people take it lightly. I am adding a family member. Ok great. I will be back after I check out some of the people on the lists you linked. Thank you.

Your shock says it all.
It’s humbling to realize you know a lot about caring for dogs but nothing about breeding.
Thanks for responding so quick and genuinely. Cheers all

I connected with Val at SunCountry dobermans and one of her breeding partners. Oh my goodness. What a wonderful experience. She had all sorts of health tests up front and clearly states all the results. She also does her own halter monitoring. Such an education. I feel like I am in good hands now. They seem to have a great reputation here and elsewhere. Thank you again Doberman community. Best
