I always thought it was very unfair to the animal. We didn't take any pets with us into the countries with insane quarantine policies. We did bring some out. I considered them refugees.

I work in a boarding kennels which is also a transport business so we get some dogs here waiting around while their owners try to find new houses in other countries- thankfully NZ is rabies and heartworm free, so it is very easy to get them out... but once they have been in a rabies infected country once transporting them is going to be hard for the rest of their life. There was a dog coming through our kennels for transport once who had been to the UK twice, America, Australia and NZ numerous times and another European country whose name escapes me at the moment- that poor dog would have spent half its life either in quarantine or on long haul flights

I am glad that Aus is rabies free- I can get a puppy from there one day and will arrive here with just a couple of vet checks and still be a puppy haha

I'm an American expat, now permanently in the Philippines. I have a little 3 month old baby Red dobe named Princess. I've seen few Doberman owners in this area, most people here tend to have small dogs. But I've loved Dobermans for a long time, just had to have one again.

Hi, we have two dobes in Thailand. There are about seven dobes in the entire province, maybe 50-100 in all of Thailand. That I know of.

Where do you keep a doberman in Singapore?

China Doberman?

Hi all, I been wanting to find a Dobe for awhile now. The more research I do, the more I fall in love with this breed. I really want to have a wonderful Doberman in my life. I live in China. Does anyone know of any breeders here in China or even Hong Kong. I am crazy about this dog, willing to travel anywhere in China to get my new friend.. Thought about importing from USA (from states) but my time table does not afford me time to do so.. Please Help!!
