My boy was 7 and a half when he first began to show signs of wobblers. He was medically managed and the conditions was slowly progressive until he had an acute worsening at the age of 11.5 years (surgery was pursued at that point...after which he developed cancer...ugh). Up until that point he had a rough wear harness, we had runners anywhere the floor was slick, and we made ramps to help him get up and down (no stairs if possible). The most important thing is to keep them safe and prevent falls or sudden movements. Aqua therapy can be good for dogs who have difficulty moving around appropriately.
