Update on Mojo- We are managing with vet advice of lowering pred to 10 mg daily and 100 mg of gabapentin at night. Hopefully we can slow the progress of this disease. To respond to a post, unfortunately we live in the Virgin Islands and there is no vet that can do a MRI. We would have to fly him to the states and that itself is a issue. Airlines don't want to fly Dobermans and the heat this time of the year. We are treating as wobblers. Hopefully we have a little more time with him as he is not ready to go! He doesn't seem in pain, but due to the pred, he has lost some bladder control. Bought these belly bands for males dogs and they work wonders! ( Like a diaper) He still has issues getting up off the floor or his bed. We have tile and it is slippery so have put rugs down for his traction. Any other suggestions to help him is much appreciated.
