Greenkouki's described method of posting an 'almost done' single ear works fine and I'd do that for at least several more posting.
About the right ear and the cartilage that seems somewhat different than the left--no two ears are absolutely alike--even on the same dog. So the right ear cartilage may be thinner. As far as flopping when running goes--the cartilage in the ear continues to harden for months and sometimes years after the ears are actually standing well. Most ears with medium long to very long show crops will always flop around some when moving even when as mature adults the cartilage is fully hardened.
As long as the ears stand well when they should be standing (looking at something interesting) and the flopping doesn't occur in the middle of the ear you think is weaker I wouldn't be terribly concerned but Greenkouki's technique for posting a single ear works very well for the situation you described.
