I bought mine on ebay, Got it about half price. heres the link.
INNOTEK IUT-300 MICRO REMOTE DOG SHOCK TRAINER *** $230 - eBay (item 130242024912 end time Jul-29-08 20:30:00 PDT)
Isabell is the same way. We have a very large unfenced yard (10 Acres). Both of are neighbors have horses. So, for the safety of our little girl I use a Ecollar. Before putting it on her both my wife and I tried it on ourselves first. What we found is that it didn't hurt at all its more what I would call startling. It has a strength meter of 0-9. We use it on level 2, We didn't even feel level 1 and we could barley feel level two.
The Ecollar that we bought has a tone as well as a shock feature. We used the tone before the shock. We only had to use the shock feature twice and that was the first day we got it. After that we have only had to use the tone. This collar is great. I strongly recommend a collar with a tone as well as a shock.
