Thank you all for the kind words and condolences, this has helped me a lot. The hardest part, now for me, is trying to establish and get used to the new routine. Never realized how much with did with both of them as a group. Now having only one thereat first made it real difficult.
As for Alexis, she seems to be doing fine. She still haven't ate a full meal yet, but she eating. Some things are the same and some things are different. Just wondering how much of our emotions are influencing her behavior. Keeping it the same as much as I can and adding some new stuff to keep her busy. Just got back from the car dealer. Took Alexis with me to get the oil change on the truck. Lots of commotion and people. plus a dog friendly place, at least I think they are. Worked on some basic training stuff and she got into it.
