Well, Ilka and I finally started some training. We did two tracks, maybe 20 to 25 feet each, with food in every step. She seemed to like the idea of not only was I allowing her to eat food that was left on the ground, I was actually encouraging it.

One question, though. She kept sneezing almost the entire time she was tracking. What I did was lay the track, and then walked back the same track to get her. Was I leaving too much scent? I've read that too much scent can make a dog sneeze, supposedly to get rid of the extra scent. Should I try laying the track, and then coming back to her a different way?
