| LOL, Man I'm a bad dobiedad.....Nikita does not sleep with us. We have 2 cats that I have a hard time to get space from already. Adding Nikita in the mix, I can't imagine that. She still sleeps in her crate, but we are ordering this nice dog bed for her really soon now. Also she does not sit on any of the furniture, see bad dad again. We have talked about it but never really decided to let her. maybe in the future, but right now, it ain't gonna happen......LOL |

| | Big Dog | Apollo has always slept in bed with me. I crated him the first night I brought him home, but I didn't think it was fair that he would be crated at night and then also when I was gone at class and work during the day so I let him sleep in bed with me from the second night on. He usually sleeps on the covers stretched out with his head on my tummy, and sometimes I wake up with his big fat nose in my face. Sometimes I sleep on my couch cause it's comfy and it's easier for me to wake up in the morning (not a morning person at all), and on those nights he'll fall asleep on my legs and I usually end up kicking him off when I can't feel them any more. He does have a doggie bed, so sometimes he'll fall asleep on that, but when I wake up he's always on the bed.
As for the furniture, he is usually on the couch when he's not running around destroying whatever he can fit in his mouth...or whatever he can rip into pieces that can then fit in his mouth. It annoys me though because it's real suede and he slobbers all over it and it is so incredibly hard to clean...not to mention it was a bit expensive (luckily it was a housewarming gift from my parents). Unfortunately, he's always been allowed on the couch, although I'm working on moving him down onto his puppy pillow more often. |

| Do you let your doberman……
• Sleep in your bed with you? Do they sleep on top or under the covers? When did they first start sleeping in the bed? Or do they have their own bed? No, my bed is definitely out of bounds. If I can't get a good night's sleep, everyone in this household will suffer........
• Sit/sleep on your furniture? Do they have their favorite piece of furniture? How many have leather couches? When did you first ley them sit on the furniture? Well, this is a tricky one. Depends whether husband is home or not!! Jeddah sits on the couch with me to watch tele, she has her butt on the couch, back legs tucked up under her, front legs on the floor. Husband finds this acceptable, as she isn't actually on the furniture??? Work that one out...... But the other night, she climbed up on the couch between us, as our particularly savage elderly cat was holding court on the coffee table which was a little too close for Jeddah's comfort. So she needed someone to protect her, hence her sneaking up on the couch. Husband saw the distress in her eyes.....LOL.....and allowed her to stay......shock oh shock.......
No leather couches, but find with the dobe coat, as Jeddah is bathed regularly she doesn't get a doggy odour. |

| | Alpha | All Dobies sleep in bed with us on top of the covers, although during the day Alex somehow ends up underneath them on top of MY pillow (spoiled dog). Just before we turn off the tv to go to sleep we tell the fat one, Roxy, to get down and sleep in her own bed in our room. I almost always wake up with one of them looking at me with their head on my pillow - hey hubby that is where you're supposed to be! Alex sometimes wakes me up by gently kissing me on the lips, freaks me out, I always think its my husband, darn, but he has been pushed to the far end of the bed, dogs in the middle, LOL.
They also have their OWN room with 2 other beds but usually prefer the couch or 2 leather chairs. If I had more furniture they'd probably be on that too! |

| We did kick Gracie off the bed for a few weeks. But now she is allowed to sleep with us. Only when invited now though. She is no longer allowed to get in bed when ever she wants. We have a king size bed, so with hubby, me, Gracie and 2 cats it is hard to get a good nights sleep. We just make Gracie sleep at the foot of the bed and the cats are some where on the bed. One of them is almost always next to my side.
The couch well you know. If there is a bed she is allowed on then might as well let her have the couch as well. We have leather furniture, so there really isn't to much of a problem. Except that my one cat has pretty much destroyed it for the most part. (So if anyone ever comes over, please don't look at the sides of my furnitrue) She loves the chair. It is just big enough for her to curl up in a ball and sleep the day away but also small enough for her to feel like she is in a den. Then there are weeks she loves the love seat. Like last night, she slept on the love seat all night. There are times she likes the couch, mainly when one of us or a guest is on it but she does love it none the less.
Also I would just like to say for the record. My girl is not spoiled she is very well maintained. That's my lie and I am sticking to it. |

Okay I have to ask, does Nakita get a personalized embroidered pillow too?? If she does, that might JUST make it okay! |

| • Sleep in your bed with you? Do they sleep on top or under the covers? When did they first start sleeping in the bed? Or do they have their own bed?
Bowie sleeps in bed with me - he always has. Under or over the covers depends on the temperature - he only sleeps under covers when hes very cold or I am, and he also has his own blankets sometimes.
Willow sleeps on her double dog bed, which is next to my dog bed. It's where she chooses to sleep - she only sleeps in my bed during the day when we are not in it • Sit/sleep on your furniture? Do they have their favorite piece of furniture? How many have leather couches? When did you first ley them sit on the furniture?
Willow doesn't sleep on the furniture because she currently doesn't have the confidence to get up - she is welcome and encouraged to get up, but she hasn't as of yet. It's her decision.
Bowie lives on the couch - I have two couches and a single seat, and he loves all three. I have one leather couch and it is by FAR my favorite and my next set will UNDOUBTEDLY be a full leather set, as I adore them! Bowie has been let on the furniture the entire time I have had him. |
