| Kind of a dumb Question First off I want to say there's no real point to this question. I'm just Curious.
I have a 6 month old Doberman (Isabell). She is our first Doberman. Prior to her we had a mix breed (RIP Bob) for 11 years. My question is ????????????? How do the Dobermans compare as far as speed to some of the other breeds. I don't have anything to compare her to but she seems very fast. |

| Very fast! Seeing her running around our backyard like a crazy thing, our neighbors thought Tess was a greyhound. |

| Real fast... but not as fast as my ig's! hehe... she wishes, but they cheat, they can turn on a dime as well. I guess there is greyhound blood in them somewhere

| I heard dobes were part rottie and part greyhound, is this true? My past dobe was not very fast. But my brother in law exercises his dobe with his quad and he keeps up. I have witnessed this and my thoughts were that he looks just like a greyhound.
I found this = Doberman pinscher - pinchers history and facts

| I watched my dobe once run after a ball. He sprinted after it impressively, muscles bunching and hind legs digging in, but the greyhound in the park loped along beside him casually, just along for the fun. Then the greyhound stepped on the gas--ZOOOOOOM. Left him in the dust!
