Agility Diagrams sizes hights etc..

Missy has tried agility and loves it.. the classes are either too far away or too expencive at the moment..

i work for a fantastic carpenter who would willingly build me some jumps etc..

but i need sizes ets.. does anyone have diagrams with sizes.. i need to know how wide.. how high etc..

what i wanted to make were jumps.. weave poles .. a frame etc.

any help would be great.. and ill post pics of our agility coarse when its done !!!

also help on what side of the dog do you go on and what side to enter the weve poles on..

i know its a big ask.. but your all so great i know soemone will come up with something !!

Weave entry is always left shoulder to first pole. I have some equipment I made myself out of PVC pipe - jumps and weave poles. There are lots of DIY websites for building equipment.

I would really encourage you to find someone to train with. It is all to easy to learn bad habits and become discouraged. A knowledgeable trainer will save you a lot of grief and will be able to provide you with all kinds of guidance.

Slightly off topic, my favorite agility magazine is currently Clean Run: ALL

If you google do it yourself agility or build it yourself there is tons of websites
It's all pretty easy to build, just pvc! My Husband has builts me everything I needed and it works great! If you go the AKC website it has the standard sizes for each obstacle. You of course will have to buy a tunnel and closed chute.

I agree completely. There have been times even at training that I thought we weren't moving ahead quick enough. But the foundation work is very important.
