Chatty, that's a very good question. Right now, our team is tied down with larger projects but as soon as that is done, we're going to start working on these ideas. It may not be until the new year but I promise, I have not forgotten.

Good question. I would like to see a reply to this inquiry as well. I know that you can suppress your email address from being viewed in your public profile (via User CP), but I had not seen this disclaimer from VerticalScope. My understanding is that membership is directly tied to your email address!

I NEVER use my primary email for ANYTHING online. Get another free email and have it bounce into your primary. You can then put a filter in place if they become annoying. That way you have another layer of protection between you and whomever.

my DT email isn't my primary one. It's one I created for DT. I've noticed more activity, ie junk emails on it lately and that's why I was asking

We do NOT share your private information with anyone. EVER. It's against the law too. So your DT email address is not shared with any marketing company or 3rd party.

Now, on the flip side, marketing companies and spammers are pretty savvy these days. Case in point.. I recently registered a new email account with a few hosts. Within days, I was bombarded by spam. I hadn't even used this new email to register on any other website other than to email my friends. Sucks.

In the past, monthly donations and support contributions were allocated to monthly operating costs. Is this still the case with the new ownership? IMO, it would be nice to see these funds sent to doberman specific research, rescues, Special Needs Dobermans, etc.

Hi Sam & Macksmom,

I've touched on this question before -- it's buried in one of the threads somewhere.

Anyhow, the bronze, silver and gold memberships continue to pay for what they are intended to pay for -- maintenance of this site. If you want to do fund raising for specific doberman related causes, that is something we can discuss with the mod/admin team. Thanks!
