Since this sites inception on 06-07-2005 I have paid for all of the expenses involved with running the Dobermantalk.com website out of my own pocket. Unfortunately, rapidly rising costs associated with our extraordinarily fast growth has made it impossible for me to continue financing Dobermantalk.com entirely on my own. I would prefer not to have Pop-Ups or Banner Ads on the site so I have chosen to offer membership upgrades as an alternate solution to generate revenue for this website. The money generated from memberships will be used to keep Dobermantalk.com website and forum operational. It will pay for software licensing and upgrades, monthly web hosting fees and domain registration and renewals. It will also allow for future site upgrades or enhancements should the need arise.

Your support is much needed and greatly appreciated.

Although all areas of Dobermantalk.com Forums are already 100% free of charge (and will continue to be), there are still a few "perks" I can offer to those who upgrade their membership. Please see below for specific details.

Please note that standard (free) accounts have the following default settings:
- Maximum number of saved PMs (Private Messages) is 50
- Maximum amount of total attachment space allotted is 1 MB
- Maximum avatar file size is 1024 KB
- Maximum profile picture dimensions are 200 x 350
- Maximum profile picture file size is 64 KB
- Maximum Photo Gallery space is 25Mb
- Maximum Photo Gallery categories are 3

When you upgrade your membership, these default settings are increased significantly, as follows:

** All subscriptions are valid for one year. This subscription is recurring, this means after the period is complete it will automatically be renewed. You can cancel your automatic renewal at any time by logging into your paypal account and cancelling the subscription. If at the end of your subscription period you elect to let your paying membership lapse, then you will revert back to your old member status. If your membership expires and your Gallery Photos, PMs and/or attachments exceed the default user quota, then you will have to manually delete enough Gallery Photos, PMs and/or attachments to get below your quota before you'll be able to use more space.

** Please understand that donations do not exempt you from the rules. If you break the rules and are banned, then you will lose your ability to use the forums and you will not receive a refund. I know this will never be a problem for 99.99% of you, but I want to be very clear on this subject.

Please note that you do not need to have a PayPal account to make a PayPal payment via credit card. Once your payment has been processed your forum membership will automatically be upgraded to the appropriate level. The entire process is automatic and your account will be upgraded instantaneously.

Okay I guess I deserve that.

Honestly with the way the site has grown if I did not have support from the members and the few dollars that I get from google ads then this site would not be running today.

I tried to keep the advertising down to a minnimum but recently I had to add a few more banner ads to try and get some more people clicking. Without the clicks and the supporting members there is no way I can afford to pay for this website. Hopefully this isnt too much of a distraction for the viewers of the site.
