I used to draw on a forum that allowed you to choose your own format.

I just worry that w/some forums getting all fancy sometimes make things harder to read.

I think green is smoothing and good for the eyes so I chose that.

I was going to put black and tan as an option but I knew the others wouldn't have had a look in, as for having a chose of stlyes it might be an option but it all depends on me having time to do 2, I think a tan or light brown as the body of the forum with black writing and borders might work, but keep your ideas flowing

That sounds great, John As long as there is a soft lighter color as the background color, I think whatever trim color is selected will be fine. The "Black and Tan" idea sounds really neat! I know it's time consuming to build two/multiple skins, especially if there are compatibilty issues, so I think as long as there is a nice easy to read default, it should be well-accepted.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this

I completely agree! I am a member of another forum w/ a navy blue background- if it didn't have the option to switch to grey (which I do) I couldn't read the posts. It really strains my eyes.

I have been to other forums who had darker backgrounds and found them to be too much on the eyes. The tan/parchment idea sounds good.
