Have the Regional Forums at the bottom of the main list always been there and I've missed them all this time?

Doh! I guess I could have opened them first to see, before making this new thread. Anyways.. yay regional forums!

I think it's a good idea, especially for Dobe noobies like myself who want to get more involved in Dobie stuff.

Yeah totally Megs, I'd be delighted to find DT that are closer then they thought they were, hook up and meet! Just an FYI, pictures are a must for any DT members that get their dogs together for playdates

i don't know about the regional forums, lexus...they have slowed the loading down noticeably--since i have a dinosaur of a system & dial-up this makes dtf very slow for me.

it also means i can't check quickly through the various forums to see if there is something to i want to reply to.

i figure this will inevitably mean that i'm going to miss out on more things than i already do.

Sorry to hear about this Dobebug. I believe the site lag is coming from the additional advertisement mods the site is using and not the new forums themselves. I definitely can see that older systems using dial-up can be impacted by this.

Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this. I know TD has been looking into this from last week, since it has been first reported.
