| Read vs. Unread Posts I use the "remember me" function so it always keeps my logged on, but after 15 minutes or so of being idle, all the unread posts/threads get automatically marked as read when I refresh. I find this problematic because sometimes I only have a moment to log on and can't read all the new posts, and when I log back on, all the unread posts are marked as read automatically.
Can we have it changed to where it doesn't automatically mark all posts as read unless you manually mark them all as read? We were having the same problem on the other vBulletin forum I am on, and they changed a setting and problem solved - so I know there's a way to do it.
I find that I miss a lot of threads and posts because of this issue. Does anyone else find this an issue as well? |

| I know there's a simple option to fix it. You shouldn't have to go through all that work every time. |

| I guess I never noticed it. I usaully hit the new posts drop down menu and choose one of the option ie: 15min, 1 hour, 8 hours..etc..

| Okay the default time out value was set for 15 minutes. I have doubled it to 30 minutes.
Let me know if that sorts out your trouble.
Thanks

I'm not sure what the option was called, but I can ask and find out where it is in the admin panel if you want, TD. Thanks for working on this, btw - it's been bugging me for ages! |

| When you log on, do it in a new window. Then use the old window for all your non-Doberman stuff. |
