Unless someone here is running the site on thier own box the most they can do is complain to the host. This is not likely forum related but server related. Servers generally host numerous domains on one box, dedicated servers are very expensive.

Often times it is server load that becomes the problem, this site is fairly popular, just look at the number of people who have logged in during the last 24 hours, most never post but every page load queries the database. It could be caused by the cpu usage of another site on the box, if a new or suddenly popular site is hosted, cpu usage will increase because of that site and that slows down every site on the box. It can also be due to new security measures on the host box or updates, not all updates to server software work glitch free. Problems can also be in the mysql or what ever database system is used.

I have nothing to do with this site but I have hosted my own domains both on my own box briefly when building sites, and I own and run currently 2 domains of my own that are hosted on a unix box in s tx.

Just goes to show how much people "DT" when they don't get thier "DT" lol.
