Forum unresponsive?

Has anyone else been experiencing longer loading times, or the forum being unresponsive completely for the last week or so? I was trying to log on all last night and it would either not connect at all, time out, or I'd get a "Database Error" or "Forbidden" error.

It's been going on for at least the last several days, but last night was the first time it didn't resolve itself within a reasonable amount of time. I couldn't log on at all last night. I don't think its just on my end because all other webpages load normally.

Yes - last night was the first time I really had issues. Got the same errors (databasr & forbidden) & one about it was doing something with the server & try back later. ALl other web pages loaded normally. I have cable internet & use windows internet explorer.

I just got an error a few minutes ago. Seems to have been happening periodically for the past few days.

Yep for about the last three or four days. Sssllllloooowwww loading!!!!

agreed, i've been having issues loading the page though I've never had any errors. I'm running a mac

Alright, well at least we know its not just happening to a couple people and its widespread across the board.

Since this is not an isolated event and has been happening for the last several days - and appears to be getting worse - maybe an admin can contact the server host and find out what the problem is? Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

As I posted in the bark box when nothing else would load, I can hear the mysql database screaming. I would be interested in what kind of server load this site puts on the server. vBulletin is a fairly low query forum, ikonboard would have it screaming.

oh I didn't see that in the bark box - I have it disabled so it doesn't show up for me... I find it annoying, lol

Yeah I'd be curious to know how it affects vB as well.

Me too and for a couple of weeks. Funny part is I thought it was my 6 year old computer. So I went to Costco and looked and now regardless I am getting the flat screen HP with all the new gadgets when it goes on the coupon sale next week!!!
