Problems Logging On

I've only been a member of the forum since September and I have trouble logging on almost everytime I try. I'm using the right username and password but it will not let me on. If I say I forgot my password and have it emailed to me and follow the steps, I may be able to log in for a short time after that but by the next day it's back to not accepting my password.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem? Thanks

What does it say when you try to log on and it won't let you? Do you get an error message?

I'm not sure why it would stop accepting your password... maybe try checking the box that says "remember me" next to where you enter your username and password. If it saves that as your password for futre logins, you may get around the problem.

When I enter my username and password and click on login it will blank out everything and dump me right back to the main page that you see before you login. To actually get in I then type in my username and hit login which then takes me to the place where you can give your email to have your password reset. It then lets me in before I even get the email. Very weird. I have tried hitting the remember me but it doesn't work.

It's not a huge deal, just a little frustrating when I don't have much time but want to check out a few posts before doing something that I should be doing...like work...lol

For some reason I cannot log on to the main page I have to go to the Site Navigation and get on the Forum page, then I can log in. I do check the remember me box as it was constantly cutting me off after a bit and I would have to relog on. Now it doesn't cut me off anymore

Yes I can see how that would be frustrating!

I've checked into your user permissions, and they are the same as any other member. I don't anything weird there... so that's about all I can do on my end - an admin will have to dig a little deeper.

I would first look into what Web Browser you are using and their settings. Everything looks fine on the server end, so I would expect it could be the web browser setting. You might want to try another browser to see if its the same issue with it. The most commonly used browser are Internet explorer and Mozilla. If you can get any error messages, that will help me with this.
