Link Suggestion

One thing that REALLY bugs me about this forum is that once I get to the bottom of a page, I have to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page to navigate back to the forums.

Adding the same links to the bottom that you have on the top (Doberman Talk Forums > Site News and Information > Site Feedback (for example)) would make forum navigation MUCH faster and easier.

This should be an option in vBulletin - you just have to find where the option is hidden to turn it on, so it's not a matter of custom code.

Just a suggestion.

P.S. I already turned off signatures because it only added to how much scrolling up I have to do since there are no navigation links at the bottom, especially since some people's sigs are ENORMOUS - way bigger than they really need to be. I can't believe there aren't sig restrictions on this forum - large sigs suck up too much bandwidth.

There is a drop down menu titled "Forum Jump" at the bottom of the page that brings you wherever you want to go.

I don't know who you think has an enormous signature. I haven't see an "enormous" signature on here lately? We do have signature requirements, maybe you missed that section when you read our rules, it is in the New Member section. It is 200x500. Yours is 125 x 637, so technically larger then we allow. But as long as they aren't crazy big and are within reason, we are fine with a little over the set amount. Since we changed our look, most people that had the larger signatures have adjusted their sizes already.

If you have seen someone with a ridiculously sized signature, just let one of the mods know who it is, b/c we must all be missing it, and we will let the person know to resize.

There actually is a scroll bar at the bottom right of the pages titled "Forum Jump" that will take you to whatever section you want, is that what you are looking for?

Yeah I already know about the drop box - it's just an extra mouse click and a navigation links would be easier. Just a suggestion for ease of navigation. Most of the older members are probably used to using that drop box, but as a newer member, I was just pointing out something that would potentially make it easier for people to navigate.

Also about the sigs, I've turned sigs back on, so I'll be sure to PM some mods about the sigs. Some of them are so huge that I can't believe I'm the only one who has seen them. And I'll resize mine too later on today.

In the lower right hand of every page there is the word "TOP" it will take you to the top of the page without scrolling up.
