bah! technology is a PITA sometimes, huh? | The reason why it said scale models forum was becuase I own Scale Models forums and when I upgraded DT forums there was a few probelms with the database so I had to use tables from my forum to replace DT's ones, hope that explains things |

| Is there any rhyme or reason with these pages that load up blank? Just a blank white page. I can't check certain threads or even certain pages of threads. It's happening to about 50% of the threads I click on - I can't access them at all. I know you are working hard on other stuff but just wondered if this is something we can expect to be fixed soon? |

| This is a question that I asked earlier in this same thread but I don't think anyone noticed. I pm'd TK about it this morning also.

| Okay just a FYI last night the forum web server was upgraded to faster processors and double the memory. The forum should not slow down now or lose connection to the database when we are under heavy loads. If you have any performance problems please let us know by posting a new thread in the Site Feedback forum explaining your problem.
As for the blank white pages I have not seen any myself so I cant diag the problem. Can you please post links to the thread that gives you the blank white pages so we can test them.
Thanks

If I log out, I can see some of the pages fine, but if I'm logged in, they are whited out again. No amount of refreshing, clearing cache, or restarting will get it to stop coming up. And it's the same pages for me from one day to the next. But I know other people can view them fine because replies keep getting added...
Here is a screenshot. It loads and says "Done" at the bottom, and the URL is still in the address bar like it should be, but the page is completely white. Click to enlarge.
Here are some links that have been blank for me for the past few days now: Thinking of getting a Gun? What kind? Please say a prayer for Nissa Over the moon in love with Thakoon! Heartgard vs Interceptor http://www.dobermantalk.com/breeding...lack-rust.html WOO HOO The paco bling has arrived !!! Pics Nice Collars.. paco and others.. help please ! We have a broken leg...

| I have found how to fix this problem at least on both of our computers here. If you reset how many threads you view on a page back to default instead of 40 threads per page it seems to fix it. I would love to be able to go back to 40 threads per page however if the problem can be fixed.

No wonder when I logged out I could view it ok, but when I logged back in the pages were still blank. And that also explains why other people could still view and reply to threads that I couldn't - they were using forum default replies per page.
But yeah, now that we know what the problem is, hopefully it will make it easier for the admins to figure out a fix for it and we can go back to having 40 replies per page |
