I don't understand where you have gotten the impression that we have continually allowed people to repeatedly "hawk puppies" via Doberman Talk. I do not believe that to be the case.

Actually this forum does not allow such (and has taken action many times against posts of this nature,) and with that in consideration, it *could* be construed that any breeders, reputable or not, by even so much as posting pictures of their litters/puppies to be doing so as a form of advertisement. Not sure if this is what you are referring to by your post of continually allowing such advertisements or not.

This particular offender was banned for breaking the forum rules twice in a row, FYI to everyone.

I have read all the posts in this thread prior to posting originally, it was just your comment "if it keeps being allowed" in that particular post that I didn't understand, as we've (DT collectively) never allowed it at all, from this user or any other. Of course we can't stop people from deciding to violate our forum rules and promote their litters, all we can do is follow them around and boot them out and clean up the mess they leave

I know i havnt been on this site very long but one thing i do really like is the fact that i dont have see things like that. Its got to be tightly controlled or you will have everyone that wants to sell a pup on here. My two cents worth i think the mods do a very good job keeping things clean. Thats one reason i signed onto this site. "Plus all the cute puppy pics". Sorry guys just wanted to get that out

I have to agree with Murrey. Those posts that are selling pups, stud services or the like should be removed. There are tons of threads where people discuss health testing and whelping/bringing up pups, etc. There is no need to keep the posts on the forum.
