Can someone give me a play by play on how to post pictures when posting a thread? Once you click new thread or post - what do you do next? I am new to this. I have read some of the suggestions under the thread "Help" but I just can't figure out the steps.

First upload photos to photobucket ( its what most use )

When typing your reply there are icons along the top of the box.. its the yellow square with a mountain in it.
click on this and you will get a new box open in the top right of screen.

in photo bucket copy the direct link and paste it into this box ( copy hold cntrl button down and press c paste hold control and press v )

it will appear in the box you are typing as photo bucket image and lots of numbers etc.. then when you press post reply you will get a big pic in your post like this...

Here's a sticky about it: How to post a picture


And here's how I tell people to do it:

1. Create an account with Photobucket (a photo hosting website) and log on.
2. Any picture you want to upload should be resized first - if you don't, it'll either show up too huge, or Photobucket won't even upload it. Resize it to 640x480, that's the size I usually use.
3. Then go to Photobucket and Browse for the picture (where ever you have it saved on your computer). Then click Upload.
4. Your album will refresh and you'll see the picture with different options below it.
5. Copy the [IMG] link (all you have to do is click on it and it automatically copies it.
6. Then paste the [IMG] link into your post on DT. It'll come up as a link in your post, but once you add your reply, the picture will show up.

I don't think so - I don't see where it gives you IMG tags to post. I think you can only email share them or order prints.
