I was told years ago that 1/4 inch. Can you just imagine how short that is.
I am the dremeling fool, but the kids nails look good and I never ever hear the click clack when they walk.
But they grow so darn fast..........I can hardly keep up.

What model Dremel do you guys use? Where did you get yours? I just don't want to buy a model that is has too little RPM's. Thanks for any advise.

There have been several threads on this recently - you can do a search,
but here's one of them that I posted on w/ the 3 models I have and their pros/cons.
Nail trimmer - dremmel

I have the Dremel brand, series 300 variable speed plug in type. Works great.

The shorter the better!!!! Nothing worse then long nails, on a dog with what would be nice feet. I truly believe if you keep the nails short and the dog never learns to use them for balance then you get a much tighter foot. The less nail you can see the better.
I have multiple dremels, cordless and corded they all work fine. I think the corded dremel has alot more power.
Dremel, Dremel and then Dremel AGAIN!! It never ends!!!!!

I just got a dremel from my grandpa. It has only been used a few times. It is a Craftsman brand. It works really well. Renic's nails are pretty much non existant! I love it!
