Ok, Thursday was the first night of Conformation Classes with Daemon, its a small group taught by an older lady who has been handling for 30 years. There were only 4 dogs in class including Daemon. A male Aussie, a female English Bulldog, and the Teachers dog, sorry can't remember the breeds name. Anyways. Daemon had to work on stand stay. He kept wanting to sit at first. I'm borrowing a show lead to pratice til next week. He was great around the other dogs, paid barely any attention to them at all. Overall he was kinda fidgety, but they said he was not bad for a 6 month old. So all week we will be practicing Stand Stay and class next week we learn about proper feet placement. Yay for Daemon. Hes learning to be a Show Dog!

Good for you!!! Just remember to keep the training sessions SHORT and make sure he is having FUN!!!! You want him to be HAPPY and ANIMATED in the ring!
