| Oh, I was NEVER on the big obstacles. They had a baby dog course where the dogwalk was maybe hip height and the a-frame came up to my chest at most. I was letting him investigate what he wanted to investigate, but in retrospect I probably should have just let him watch the other dogs. I wasn't punishing him for bailing, I just noticed that the two times he tried, he was a little uncomfortable and bailed. I'll make sure to keep him off the gear next time! All we have done in class so far is tunnels (which he loves and I let him do yesterday), the wobble board (which he also loves), front/rear passes and contact work.
We're going to the North St. Louis County Obedience trial. Nice venue, AC, inside, lots of vendors. Should be fun! Now I just need to get that soft crate ordered!
