| | Alpha | So very sorry for your loss. I know being there with your beloved Sadie was hard for you, but as time goes by you will be very glad that you were.
Try to enjoy your lake house and "her smell on the couch". Maybe she's already there waiting for you. Maybe that sounds crazy but thinking like that sort of helps me through times like this. |

| [quote=avalonandon;456915]We are both crazy then. I have had very powerful, specific dreams in this regard.[/QUOTE
Dreams are a very real way for our dear ones to communicate. As long as we are open to this, they will communicate. I've experienced other 'visits' that were incredibally real, tangible, and witnessed by others than myself.
It left me so emotional, but in a wonderful way and gave me the peace I needed to deal with the devastation I was going through. All living creatures live on after death....I've seen and heard all the proof I need.
Our beloved pets are always near, and they do let us know.
Av..good to know I have a 'partner in crazy'. lol |

| Bless you heart. I am very sorry for your loss and so glad that you had the courage to be there. I was not there for my 19 yr old cat (I thought I would die when I lost her, she was my only friend when I was a shy little kid and I don't have a memory before her), and have always regretted it. I have been with all the rest of my animals since then, and it is always so horrible for me, but better for them. I hope your pain gets better soon.

| I am very sorry for your loss. I think it is very hard to be there with them, but so important.
I lost my Tabitha in January, naturally, and I was so glad that I was with her.
I also went to see her before she was cremated, it was the hardest thing I ever did. But we were together, since she was 71/2 weeks old, and I knew I needed to be there with her.
Sadie, is playing at the Rainbow Bridge. She will always be in your heart.

My first Doberlove was a black bitch named Sadie. She was my best friend. Even though she has been gone for many years now, I still think of her every day. |

Sadie RIP my best friend and companion..I will always love you | I am so terribly sorry for your loss....and I know it meant everything to your Sadie that you were with her til the very end. They know we are there and are comforted by our voice, our touch and our kisses. I remember staying with my Lab Onyx til the very end....and I kept kissing her and telling her what a wonderful girl she was and how much I loved her. I believe that eases their passing, although it drives daggers through our hearts.....I am crying now....just remembering it....You did the right thing...the courageous thing....the most loving thing.
Sadie will meet you by the bridge when it is time for you to be reunited.

| I am so sorry. Take comfort in the fact that Sadie knew you were with her and loved her. It was a year ago this past June that we went through this with our 12 year old Dante. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him.
Take care.
