| Caesar RIP 6/3/08 My husband and I lost our beloved Caesar on 6/3/08. Three days later I gave birth to our first child. I am so sad that I was never able to see them together. My husband and I talked throughout my whole pregnancy how we couldn't wait to see Caesar with the baby. He was the sweetest and most loving dog.
Caesar was just a year old when he ate some seeds from a sago palm tree in our backyard. We had no idea how lethal those palm trees were. Our 10 month old, Brutus, survived and is still taking medication to help repair his liver. I held onto my dear Caesar while he took his last breath. I saw the life go out from his very beautiful, expressive eyes. I miss him dearly.

| I am so sorry for your loss of such a young puppy. What a tragic ending. I am glad that you were with him at the end to ease his transition over the bridge. It is so hard to lose one of our babies for any reason. I never heard that Sago Palm seeds were dangerous. I am however happy to hear that the other puppy is going to make it. Congratulations on your new baby! Good luck.

| I am so sorry to hear of your awful loss. That just hurts so bad, it's like torture. There's nothing anyone can say to make you feel better about your loss, it's just going to be time and more time and an ocean of tears as you remember the times you had. I wish peace for you and bless the new little life in your home. Shauna
