I decided to keep my doberman puppy! :)

I don't even know if anyone will remember me posting because I've only posted a couple of times.

I was wondering whether to keep my doberman puppy since I was having a hard time getting over the passing of my two boston terriers. My boston's left me in August of 07 and I got puppy Uma(dobe) a few months later and I was having a hard time adjusting.

I posted my serious doubts about keeping her and many people responded and even pm'ed me. I appreciate everyone's advice and all of you encouraged me to keep trying and I WILL fall in love...WELL.. I DID!!!

She is a wonderful dog! She is now 9 months and is the most wonderful walking companion ever! She keeps me healthy and happy and we meet the best people out at the dog park. I needed to be around people because I've been a recluse since my boston's passed.

You all helped me to learn I can love another dog. No, she's not my boston's..she's a doberman. Different dog, same love!

Glad to hear this. I know after the loss of a special dog (all of them), it is sometimes hard to try again. Glad there is some happiness in your life again!

I too remember reading about your adjustment to having another fur kid to love.

I must admit that reading this update on how you have formed a bond of love with her brought some moisture to my eyes. Thanks for the update and please don't wait so long to post again.
