My foster/training puppy playing with my dog. He will be staying with me for a while till his eye fixes it self or he can go to the vet to get it fixed.

Omg, those pictures are so cute!!! That last picture was my favorite!!!

Where did you get the little darling and what's wrong with his eye? Hope he can heal himself quickly.

He came from a byb breeder. We were wondering if anything else was going to happen do to poor breeding. Well the last 2 night have been very hard. Puppy started to have what we think are seizures this weekend. 3 of them with in 24 hours. A cough started to on Sunday. He had a temp of 108 which we give him some meds for that(dont ask me I do not mix the meds). We think it maybe Distemper. We did treat for it when it got to us but we may of been to late. We will know more tomorrow. I fear the worse though. I never would of thought it would end like this.

Oh no, I hope it is something else not so serious. There is not a lot you can do beyond supportive care.

How is the puppy?

Did you take him to the vet? If you did, what did the vet say?

I am just so saddened to hear he is possibly fatally ill...

Well I guess it is time for an update. Puppy found a new home today. His seizures have stop for the last 1.5 weeks. He can see out of the eye with the growth on it. Was told it is not very common in American dobermans. More in the Euro dobermans or we were told. He can not see out of the other eye though. We also adopted a 4 dogs today.
