I'm curious how exactly did you track down his breeder? Very cute puppy but some things are not making sense to me especially how you were able to not only track down the breeder but how you were able to find the person who originally took the dog for free and then the person who resold it prior to dumping it. Just curious how did that happen? Seems like a lot of information to receive about a lost puppy just left at a gas station. Just my thoughts.

I found the breeder selling more puppies like him on Craigslist. I contacted her and she told me about giving him away to some guy named Tim. she claimed she had no idea how the injury happened and thought it was genetic. I don't believe that she doesn't know what happened to him. I later found an ad for the puppy on a cached version of oodle.com being sold with no mention of his injured leg (via an extensive google search.) The sellers name was Tim.

Then the woman who dumped him actually carried the puppy up with her to speak with the attendant at the gas station (if was at a Walmart gas station). .She mentioned how she had just bought the puppy and hadn't know about his leg and was disappointed as she had purchased puppy for her kids (or something along those lines). She asked if the attendant wanted him. After she was done pumping her gas she set the puppy down next to the pump and sped away. The attendant rushed out and rescued the pup and ended up giving him to his manager (my client) as he knew she had three standard poodles.

I hope that makes sense....it took me a while to gather all that information. It's a sickening story really.

This story still doesn't make sense to me sorry, it really doesn't have to. I wish your puppy a fabulous healthy, happy life, that's all that matters. Good luck!!!

I'm curious...what part of it do you not understand? Specifically?

And thank you! I think with his little fighting spirit that he will be around a very VERY long time! He thought he OWNED the Dobe I fostered! Silly munchkin poodle.

Specifically the part how you found a supposedly "lost puppy" and yet seem to have all of this extensive background information on not only the breeder but The first and second homes this poor pup has ever known. That's what makes no sense to me. Sorry I don't think I'm too far fetched here in saying something doesn't smell right. Good luck to you.

Oh, I forgot to say....after the gas station attendant gave the puppy to his boss...she brought him to me.....

So long story short: crappy breeder gave him to "Tim"...."Tim" sold him to the lady at the gas station.....the lady left him at the gas station and drove away....the gas station attendant saved the pup from the gas station parking lot....the attendant gave the pup to his boss....his boss (one of my regular clients) brought him to me....

Does that make it easier for you to understand?

I just outlined all of the research that went into finding out the full story.... Did you see my previous post? All it took was a bit of detective work and google. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand?

Of course. He will be altered once his growth plates have closed. As I do all of my dogs.

So...that's your story on ONE of your Poodles.

I think several people have noted by now you dance around certain questions.

Look, you have no obligation to answer one darn thing anyone asks you on the internet, but since you seem to want to join this community and participate here...well, credibility is earned, just sayin'.

Your Poodles are clearly BYB. That is not meant to be a statement of insult--and especially not to the innocent dogs--but as a statement of fact.

At least two of them are unaltered.

Folks are just trying to suss out the situation.

If you purchased from a BYB, or were/are a BYB yourself, probably best to just come clean about it and move on. If you want to learn better and do better, folks in this community are pretty accomodating.

It's dishonesty that really doesn't fly so well here.

I'm curious if you're aware you bumped the thread of a banned BYB member, who reportedly breeds anything and everything she can get her hands on, bunnies, dogs, horses, probably going to be breeding zebras and elephants next. Laughs and brags about hobbling and tying her horse to a tree all day--just an all-around "stellar" human.

PawSpa's also a bigfatliar, and, well, basically if you are for real, you're much better off to start your own new thread for your questions.

Reportedly by who exactly? I have never seen or heard that she is a BYB and IMHO this remark was unnecessary and over the top not to mention that most people who come on here scan through all the posts without checking the dates nor noting whether someone has been banned or not... speaking from past experience it is a pretty good way to make anyone looking for information feel stupid and chastised when people jump at them like that. Seems counter productive to me.

All i'm going to say is this, unless you have actually met the person and taken the time to find out what kind of person they actually are, please leave your comments like this out of the forum.

I HAVE met the OP, in person. She was a very kind and helpful person that gladly came to our house to show us how to post our pups ears correctly as my wife and I were at wits end trying to keep the posts in her ears. She has a beautiful Doberpup that she obviously loves dearly that presents great character and shows well trained skills. Anything else doesn't really matter, does it?

bethcoats, it would be a good idea to start a new thread with your questions. This is an old thread, and since the OP is no longer a member I am closing this thread.
