| I totally agree to borrow one for a while..... I take Drama with me alot, but I am SO happy to be able to just go home to one easy dog other nights. The pups wear me OUT during the day. Seriously, I like can't walk when I get home. They need so so so so much, and I have so much training going on with the adult dogs that I can't imagine actually having to take a puppy home with me on top of it all.
Besides that, money and more money is also a HUGE issue. Your girl has all of the potential in the world to do anything you have the time to get into, so I'd spend all of your time and energy on that! |

| Put a few titles on Juno and then get a puppy That way you know what to do differently with the next one.
I feel your pain though. I'm sooooooooooooopo ready to adopt a Dobergirl. I want my own dog that I can train and title and spoil. |

Mabel tells me lies all day...
"I didn't rip up that stuffy, oh no never"
"I'm not barking at the neighbor..."
"Oh this paper towel covered in beef grease? umm yea it was always mine, I didn't get it from the trash."
Personally issues or not with mabel's drive even at almost three I'm just now thinking I want a puppy NEXT year lol, everyone's different but I prefer less stress and training
Fight the insanity...while everyone else says do it

| Just remember they pee and poop all the time, they chew, they chew, they pee and poop, they are bad. Bad puppies. Puppies are bad. Juno is still a baby...focus on Juno, she is an adult puppy, she doesnt pee and poop everywhere. She is the perfect age to do everything with. Juno DOESNT want a puppy she thinks you are nuts!!
Maybe in 2 or 3 years I will get a puppy LOL. Although I'd prefer a 6 month old. OK Someone get me a puppy, keep it until it is 6-8months, then send it to me...yeah...that sounds perfect to me! Puppies are the devil!!

| My boy is only 8 months, and already I'm wondering how busy our agility life will be.. maybe I'll have time for a second dobie baby in a few years! (My plan has always been that when my two small dogs pass, that I would only have 1 larger dog instead)

| Think of the nipping, the peeing, the pooping, the money, the peeing, and pooping, and did I mention the nipping and the exercising, and the time investment... Juno is having a maternal phase, she will change her mind in a month I promise! lol I love my puppies dont get me wrong but oh lord, I wouldn't get any more until a few years from now when I have lost all the stress from the puppy/adolescent stages of these two! lol |

Lucky and I were lucky (pardon the pun, its hard to avoid with that name) to have survived each other the first few weeks.

| Envy found a way to get the flooring up from the kennel run so hubby just had to replace the floor. here I thought Flirt had managed to destroy anything and everything possible in the kennel and they were puppy proof. Flirt ate the sheetrock (we have FRP board now), she chewed the pvc water pipe (told ya so hubby), flooded the kennel runs and chewed the door frame. Still want a puppy???

| I have no advice to offer. I'd simply die for a little fawn or blue puppy so I can't help you there, but I do often wonder how people do it! Take Adara, for example. Look at all the titles each of her dogs has! It's amazing!
I mean, how on earth do all these people find the time and energy to not only train each of their dogs separately, but also work them, title them, handle them, etc?! And these are dogs they've raised from puppyhood! I commend them and would love to know how they divide their time among their dogs in order to achieve all those things.
I have a pet doberman and a pet boxer (who are adults, mind you) and it's a PITA just to get Tessa's sweater on while Ben jumps around us waiting to go for a walk. I want to get Tessa into nose work this year and try lure coursing in the Fall. But first, I've got to train Ben not to throw a temper tantrum whenever we leave the house without him!

| Well, I'll see where flyball takes us so far. I have no plans on a puppy ( other than Levi's corgi, but that's his dog he wants to title) so far. But. Puppies ;-; someone just bring them over and smother me in puppy nibbles.
