Thank you! Half the fun of their room is coming up with new ways to make it stimulating for them. My next step will be floating shelves on the walls that they can jump to and hang out on.

I think the tube came from Petco but I bought it a few years ago, so I'm not sure.

This was their gym back in CA, but sadly, it couldn't make the trip to TX with us. I will definitely order another of these!

I thought my cats had a pretty nice setup until I saw your pics. Their room in comparison looks like the flintstones live there while yours looks like the Hilton. I am going to spend the day working on improving it. I need a new cat tree and I am going to look on the net to find one of those tubes!

If the op builds a room like this for her cats she will not need to worry about the dobe interaction. The cats will not want to leave their room.

This is the site where I found the cat condos. I compared their prices to others (even amazon.com and o.co) and found they offered the best prices and free shipping. They were a breeze to put together (if you enjoy doing that sort of thing). I geek out on this stuff so I had fun with it.

BenVera thank you for that now the crazy cat lady in me wants to make a awesome cat room, which I do not have the space or money for, not to mention a pup that also needs to work on his cat manners :p

Yeah, I know some might think it's a little over-the-top, but I feel so guilty about keeping them confined during the day that I try to give them the most I can to make it fun for them. And personally, if I were a cat, I'd love hanging out in there!

My dogs are just way too curious about them for my liking, so it's best to continue keeping them separated. It took the cats a few tries of jumping over the gate and then being chased by a dog and jumping back over the gate before they realized it was just better to hang out in their room until I put the dogs away. Thank goodness they're quick learners!

I think it's awesome I have always loved those house that people have turned into cat play gyms or just the room and I have always wanted to do it =) hopefully by the time I can Row has calmed down a bit
