| Rouleaux turned 7 months old! (Pictures!)
My little Rou is growing up. He turned 7 months old yesterday. I used to wish he would grow up fast, but now I just want him to slow down and wait for me. I still look at him and see the floppy eared puppy I brought home about 5 months ago... He has reached 63lbs so far, and is all leg.
Here are some recent (and throwback) pictures! I am having trouble adding a few, so I will try later. Otherwise- enjoy my goofball.
Let us start with a memory. His first moments home, in the tub for his first bath. We brought him home clean, but he threw up on the way home. Luckily it was dad's car  such is life right... 
9 weeks old next to my 7 year old Brittany mix- 
Just 1 week shy of 7 months- 
And as a special gift, he got a spiffy bowtie for his 7 month birthday. He loves it! (Mom loves the clearance rack!). 
I swear they love each other! 
I love this face... even if his eyes look funny with the flash on! 
And again, thank you everyone for being there to answer my questions, correct me, and over all teach a new dobie owner! Rou and I really appreciate it!

| They grow up so fast, but they require so much time you're glad they've grown up. I think Parker was three before I finally missed that puppy stage.
They're so adorable when small and love you so so much.
You have some good pictures. Looks like a nice big yard for him to enjoy.

| WOW! Great pictures! I really like the two with the young Rou beside the other dog and then another "almost" grown Rou beside the other dog. Amazing how fast they grow up. He really is a handsome dog and I love the bowtie! Happy 7 month Birthday Rou! | |

| I can't help but celebrate the little things  The yard was perfect when he was small. It was strange how small it looked in the second picture. He is spoiled and runs on the trail a lot, and he has more doggy friends than I do people friends.

| Oh, he is so gorgeous! What a perfect-looking boy. I can't believe how fast they become "big" pups...unbelievable. But I'm with LindaH on this one...I'm looking forward to the non-puppy years right now!

He is named after Rouleaux formation though- stacking of red blood cells (like poker chips)
I love his name.
Just recently on this site I was informed that his nickname "Rou" (actually this version is spelled roux) is a "broth" used in gumbo.
Doesn't Rou also mean little red head? I could be wrong.
