Need help finding ear cropping vet

Hi everyone! I am getting my new pup in the morning.. what a great way to start off the new year! She is 9 weeks old. I have been searching on here to find a good recommmended ear cropper in my area and after lots of referrals for Dr Patty Edwards i then find out she died of pneuomonia so now im looking for another highly recommended cropper. I live in hazlehurst ga. I am centrally located however to both atlanta, savannah and jacksonville florida and ocala florida. I want a good show crop. If anyone can now point me in the right direction id sure appreciate it.. here is a pic of my new girl Ivy.

My dog's not spoiled....Im just well trained.

There is a breeder in Georgia you could try contacting. Pamelot Dobermans.

Just curious why didn't the breeder handle the cropping?

I knew that the response would be a question as to why the cropping was left to the new owner also. Oh, and we (collective) probably know why the breeder left the cropping up to the new owner, but we (collective) ask, anyway.

Yes I did. Much better to ask a polite question than pounce on the OP.

Now, do you have any suggestion as to a cropper to help the OP?

Just seems responses are more geared towards ''thanks'' even though VZ offered an alternative, I think it could have been left at that.

No spin, merely a question and a polite approach. And like I said it was a better way than pouncing on the OP. If you take some time to read some of the posts directed at newbs asking the exact question you'll see what I mean.

As for the op if you don't mind the drive I highly recommend Dr. Mcbride in Wildwood Florida about a 4 hour drive from you.

Thank you for what? You helped the OP with a suggestion as to a cropper. That hardly qualifies for a thank you.......a pat on the head perhaps but definitely not a thank you.

Are you serious? You are mean. I hope you remember to decline all offers to help from generous strangers if, god forbid your dog ever has an accident. Oh wait, based on this post no one will offer. Mean, mean you should be ashamed.

Thanks, Chatty.

What this person posted says a metric sh*t-ton more about them, than about me.

And my Whippy-girl, for whose life I'm forever grateful.

And, actually, even though I'm pretty sure I know who this duplicate acct is--still, if their dog ever needed help, I'd be up for that, regardless.

First of all id like to say thank you for the one referral to dr.mcbride. I will be calling her in the am. also im not new to DT I frequently stalk the pages..lol for info and just to pass time.. i love listening to everyone bicker..lol.. anyways so i already knew that there would be a big question as to why the breeder didnt send her home cropped. Reason.. I did not want her cropped by them. she was flown in from argentina and that was enough stress in itself so i decided to pass on the crop and have her done in the US. I knew you guys would have some great referrals so i wouldnt end up in the wrong hands.. Also this is not my first doberman nor first crop. But the last puppy I had a friedn referred me to a vet that did one of her past doberman and i was not happy with what i got at all. I want a great crop. From an expereinced doberman cropper. From what ive heard edwards adn mcbride are the best around and since edwards has passed i will go where i need to go. I have no problem travelling to get it done right. She is absoluelty beautiful..IMO. and she is a big girl.. im really wanting a show, or at the shortest..medium/long crop. I dont mind posting forever to get them perefect..lol anyways thanks again. and I hope you enjoy the pics.. We just got home !!!

My dog's not spoiled....Im just well trained.

She's a pretty girl. What's her name or have you chosen one yet?

Patty Edwards passing was such a tragedy. She cropped a couple of litters for me years back and she was such a nice and entertaining person.

Have heard only good things about Dr McBride too tho.

Congratulations on your new puppy. Hope she makes you the dog you want. Best wishes!

Oops I got so frustrated I forgot to mention that McBride is who cropped Luca. His crop is very nice. The best cropper will be worth nothing if dedication is not given to posting. I am sure you will be pleased with The results. Let us know how it goes.

A world traveling Dobe! Why did you choose a breeder in Argentina? What is over there that you couldn't find here in the states? Just curious, nothing more.

she is such a character.. I have named her Annalia. i was going to call her ivy but once she was in my arms i new that wasnt the right choice for her. She does take great pics. and ill be sure to post some more on here tomorrow. and i didnt use any treats just strange noises to catch her attention..lol

No reason why i chose the breeder.. I liked his dogs.. he seemed very upfront and honest, was wonderful both over the phone and in person. He lives in florida, but his wife's brother owns Annalia's sire/dam and he is in argentina. they actually flew the puppies here to bring in non american lineage. i am so far extremely pleased. her sire and dam come from ch. bloodlines and have both been shown.. he showed me all of their paperwork and i had many pictures and videos to watch. I hope to get her into something. i really would like to venture in to the showring with her eventually. but i dont know where to begin! I am calling dr mcbride in the morning. cant wait to have her cropped!

My dog's not spoiled....Im just well trained.
