Tip of ear flopped

Hey guys,

I took Toorc's posts down today to let them breathe and one ear developed a sore at the tip. That ear used to stand perfectly like the other and now the tip is super flimsy and it doesn't look like he has full function over it either. I didn't do anything different with posting nor do I do them too tight so I have no idea how he got it. Should I leave that ear down for a while? Not sure what to do I'm getting so defeated with his ears. There is always something wrong!

If its just the tip you can do a few different things. Are the ears strong enough to be untaped? Or will it do more damage then good? You can tape the ear and just not cover the tip. Don't do it for a extended period of time as it will start to curl or lean over. Or clean the tip well apply powder such as gold Bonds medicated then cotton pads/balls then tape over. Change it often as you don't want it getting infected. If it looks worse go to the vet and get a round of antibiotics.
