Rouleaux turned 6 months on the 5th and weighs 55lbs

Teddy is 7 months and change, and he weighed 72lbs a day ago.

Well, Bella was 47.4 lbs last week, and gains about 3 lbs per week, do I'd put her at 50 lbs right now. She'll be 5 months tomorrow AND lost her first canine tooth last night... I knew she'd be a big dog, and would be much bigger than my other dog and playmate, Sparky (Bichon Frise, 13" and 21 lbs.), but i never expected her to be THAT big!! Her Mama is around 80 lbs and father is unknown... Bella is a rescue. Hmmm...

Yup. That's what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure he's almost done in height. He won't go over 29, and who cares about weight. I like bigger males. He's really lean now since the diet lol and he just weighed in last week at 91-92 pounds, so he's still growing but it'll be fine. He's just a big boy.

Hope the doubling from 5 months is wrong because he was about 70 pounds then. Lol.

Amazing! Over 50 years in Dobes and I've never heard the double in size from 5 months deal until today.

The one that works out the best for the most part is the rule of thumb (and this is for MALES--it's different for bitches and I have no idea what that rule of thumb is) that says that male puppies put on about 10 pounds for every month from about 3 months to around 6 to 7 months. But this doesn't say anything about height.

My fawn dog (an AKC champion) was nearly 28.5 inches in the 6 to 9 puppy classes. AKC and CKC standards read the same on height--26 to 28 inches with ideal at 27.5" for males. But I've had other males who were 26" in the 6-9 puppy class and who didn't hit their full height until they were 18 months old.

It really does depend on the lines--and on how plump the puppy is at any given age.

Thanks for sharing this! It's so tiring to hear how big he is, glad he's not the only fast grower out there.

Mine is so tiny in comparison, >.< In a week she'll be 6months and she's only 37pds..The vet said she was doing great..but im not so sure now looking at everyone else's stats.

btw 1st pic makes her look fat, she's not..she just ate lol

My boy is 74 pounds at 6.5 months. He's done great at his first show, got several points, and was deemed a perfect weight.
