I thought I'd name him Dobby (...yes, Harry Potter) before I got him. But it doesnt fit.
I need some suggestions and help choosing.
Im a biologist (DNA, evolution), so science themes are welcome. Our Likes: Star Wars, Tolkien, mythology, Stephen King, guns
My name possibilities so far:
Lego
Bumbler
Strider
Admiral Tarkin
Darwin
Cronos
Bossk
Ernst
Mars
Ruger
He's mellow and very sweet. A nice chocolaty red. |

| Hmmm... To raise the nerdiness level... Would you happen to have a favorite amino acid? Shortened versions could lead to an interesting name...Taurius, Glutamous, glycinator... Hahaha I really do like Ruger (even though its a pretty popular name) and Admiral by itself..personally, Akbar was my favorite, and if I'm not mistaken, also red? I believe as you get to know each other more, his name will come easily : ) Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| You would appreciate my boy's name then I can be a bit of a science geek when I want to. I have a blue quaker parrot named Darwin, but I'm unsure if it would fit a 80+(?)lb dog.
How about constellations?
Orion, Aries, Indus, Lynx
or some math terms? (Personally, Pi will be my next parrot's name- of course I have to spell it 3.14 ;] )
Axiom, Axis (as opposed to Atlas- greek god(?), Delta (change for the better ;]), Matrix (Dimensions of a...), Helix,
I tried
It will come to you. I had Rou's name picked out even before I got him KNOWING I wanted a red doberman. It worked out great and stuck easily. his happened with my parrot too. If it fits, it sticks!
