| Belated introduction to Julian, a Wallace son Never got around to introducing Julian here at DT.....he's been all over FB however!
Wally sired a litter for his home team, Goldgrove Dobermans, and 10 puppies were born Memorial Day weekend. 5 black bitches and 5 black boys were born. I ended up with the red collar boy I nicknamed "Mr Sparky" at the 7 week temperament test weekend!
Cheers has minimal contact with Julian at present, she's not good with younger pups...no patience and no gentle switch on that girl! She will not tolerate another bitch in this house, thus the addition of another male here. She will be the rotating girl with Jules and Wally as Julian outgrows going out with other males. (Rexy is living with serious liver issues but still enjoying life and gallops like a 2 yr old still.)
Here is Julian when he was still a baby. He lifted his leg just a few days ago, so he's getting big fast. [/IMG]
Rexy, babysitter extraordinaire!! [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
We also put in a swimming pool in August., Rexy checks out the excavating! [/IMG]
Cheers (l) and Wallace (r) meet Julian in the early days... [/IMG]
The joy of cardboard! [/IMG] [/IMG]
Rexy shows the benefit of eating his greens... [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
The cat is not too impressed! [/IMG]
He LOVED his pillow pet, drug it out and nursed it and fell asleep every day. Then he destroyed at age 4 months. No fluffy toys now.... [/IMG]
Wallace took over as babysitter after a month or so....Julian was too rough for old Rexy! [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] |

| Okay this has happened to me recently with another person's dog. I have to ask, when did Wally grow up? He is a father now? Knock me over with a feather. LOL. Time just zooms by doesn't it. Congrats on the handsome son, how are you surviving puppyhood? Enjoy the pool, we have really enjoyed ours, worth every penny. |

Hard to believe, I know...especially when he is nursing on his fleece bad! He is such a wonderfully sweet dog. He is gearing up for his CDX after the new year.
The pool was completed in Sept, then a cold snap occurred. Thus, only Rexy and my hubby have plunged in so far. We had the company come and close it Thanksgiving week. Our other house had a pool with a chlorine filtration system, but the new ones are salt water now. Curious to see how it all works next summer. Quote:

Hmm, Ellen...you must like Dobermans or something | RFR, this puppy came with a bargaining chip. Hubby is getting HIS Border Terrier girl at some point in the future. After Cheers, obviously, so who knows when that will occur?! It will be a hardship for me to get a BT as you well know..... Quote:
Originally Posted by dobegal Congrats, he is very handsome in his green winter coat. | Ah, thanks. Unlike meadowcat I can't sew a lick! Thus, just buy coats in various sizes and store them when they are outgrown. Jules fits in Cheers' size now, but does not look good in flowers or pink! He's in a paisley fido fleece that shrunk in the wash.

| Thanks everybody! Jules is a great baby boy, and fits in here well. Only Cheers seems to have her nose a bit out of joint...but that's life with Cheers. I think she'd prefer to be an only dog with no cats either. All the attention, all the food, all the petting.
I should give her a lot of credit in that she loves Wally, and he can do no wrong in her eyes...she just grumbles at him like he's a bratty little brother when she'd most likely take down another dog for the same rudeness he gets away with!! |
