I need help! Emergency foster for my dogs!

Hi, I hate to do this but I am in a bind and was just kicked out of my place to stay and have nowhere to keep my dogs, At this point it is almost virtually impossible for me to find a place that will allow 3 dogs, let alone one doberman. I am not sure what to do and think that finding Jager a new home or a foster til I am able to get a new place may be the best solution. I am in Central Kansas and I don't currently have a car so I can't take him anywhere. I will not turn him over the the local animal shelter because well...I know how things run there and he will get adopted out to some idiot who thinks he looks cool. I just really need help right now! Are there any people who have experience with dobes who are willing to take my boy? I am working on somewhere for my other dogs as well. But want to make sure he goes somewhere safe. I dont even have anywhere to stay myself but have to be out by 4pm tomorrow evening. please, help!

Whoa!! Not to pry, but what the heck happened? Is there any way out of that scenario?

I am not sure at this point, I have nowhere to go myself and am not sure what to do, the animal shelter here would hold them for a day, maybe two at the most. But I wasn't expecting this to happen and my roommate (who I only had a verbal agreement with about rent) decided it was time for me to go and the dogs too. I just need them to be safe.

What about a motel that would allow pets? You could probably find a super cheap one. That should buy you a few days at least to try to make other arrangements.

I'm trying that at the moment most motels are saying no to the big dogs. and I don't get paid til friday so that is also a damper on getting help.

There are Motel 6s all over. I don't think you'll have a problem finding one.

Not sure about laws in Kansas. In CA

Once you have established residency you can't just be thrown out. You have to be properly evicted. That should give you some time.

I'm guessing you have already paid ur rent for Dec so you should be okay.

Good luck to you.

Oh... I don't think I know anyone in Salina. Could your vet board them for a week or so? Or if you have a trainer?

I personally cannot help. My hound tries to eat other dogs that come for a visit.

I don't know if at this point it would be wise to loon into taking him to a doberman rescue. Things are really falling apart on my end and I don't want the dogs to suffer because of it. I am not sure what to do.

My roommate (who actually owns the house) said I have until tomorrow when she gets off of work at 4pm. There was never a written agreement about my living there and that was stupid on my part.
