Angus' Christmas Tree

Well the Christmas spirit has arrived at our house, and Angus wanted to share pictures of his new tree with you all. He's being such a good boy not eating it

Too cute! We are putting up our tree this coming weekend. With 2 kids, 2 cats and the pup it should be interesting to see how the tree fares this year lol.

Oh the majority of ours are already shatterproof lol. My youngest cat likes to climb the christmas tree, so we learned the hard way there (and she is a thief who will steal ornaments that are light enough for her lol). The only difference this year is there likely won't be many ornaments near the bottom of the tree, ie in Bruce's line of fire.

Karri, Angus has such a sweet little face, you just want to give him a big hug. You do a good job posting his ears, love the red tape.

I had to take all the glass ornaments off the tree a few years ago. My son disccovered that glass ornaments shatter when they hit the hardwood floor. He broke more ornaments in a week than the cats did in the previous 16 years. Sooo, I went with the plastic "shatter-proof" ornaments. The tree was still pretty, and he couldn't break them by dropping them. Well..... he got frustrated by them not breaking. That's when he discovered that, if you stomp on them, they do break.

What a good boy! We don't even try for a tree at our house...2 Dobermans, 5 cats...it's a losing proposition.

Thank you! Now that we've improved our method a bit, we're very happy We originally did the red tape to match his old collar (gotta be stylish - am I right!?) but it still works for the Christmas season!
