| 2nd day home for Venus This is her 2nd day and all she does is stay in her crate and sleeps. I bring her out to poop and pee and shell dome out to eat and play for like 20 minutes then its back to bed. Is this normal for a pup? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| Has she been vet checked by your vet? It's always a good idea to get a wellness puppy check up ASAP if she hasn't had one. All my puppies have been much more active than that but do quite a bit of sleeping compared to adults.

I brought J home at 16 weeks (she's now 7 months), and she's still totally RUN RUN RUN PLAY PLAY PLAY WHINE PLAY PLAY RUN PLAY WHINE then suddenly SLEEEEEEP for around twenty minutes before the cycle repeats.
How old is Venus? I'm sure you said it in your other thread, but I don't recall

| My boy did almost nothing but sleep his first 2 weeks home at 9 weeks. But he's a very mellow guy so just sit back and appreciate your luck. (Assuming the pup has been seen by a vet and is healthy)

| Yes take advantage if you can (assuming like dglvr said that all is well). My guy came home and was going NON STOP for almost 6 hours. As the days progressed, he settled into a schedule where he was up for 2-3 hours and slept 1h14m, then up 2-3 hours, then slept 1h14m and so on. There was never a moment where he was calm in all his puppyhood. He had 2 settings: sleep and move. |
