| Advice needed please!! So I'm going and pick up my new dobiegirl on Saturday and I'm babysitting my inlaws miniature pinscher .should I be worried a bout anything for when I arrive home and I introduce both dogs together. They will be spending 2 weeks together is this a bad idea or it won't change anything? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| I have seen many nast tempered min pins. Some are overtly aggressive, others fear biters. Unless you know this min pin is stable, gets along with other dogs well, and will tolerate a young puppy, I would NOT take a chance of getting my new beat up by the min pin.

| Unless the other dog is 99.999999999999999% FANTASTIC with puppies, I would separate. I have a Vizsla puppy we got last month. I also do dog boarding. She is not allowed to interact with any dog boarders unless I am 99.9999999999999999% sure they are fantastic with puppies. All it takes is one overly aggressive snark to shut some dogs down. My male Vizsla was "attacked" (no skin broken" by a "friendly Malamute per owner" at 10 or so weeks. Now they are much softer than Dobes, BUT it was months and I mean MONTHS of rehab to get him good with dogs again. It's not something I'd risk.
