It's been a long time since I have posted! Some of you might remember my girl Bristol. Without getting into all the millions of details, Bristol is now back with her breeder and we have her brother who's name is Stryker. He is an absolute perfect fit for our family. He is fantastic with my boys and we feel very blessed to have him. I just wanted to share some pictures of this fabulous boy.

Same - but at least the breeder was willing to take her back vs. landing her in a rescue.

Stryker - for lack of a better term - is absolutely striking

Thanks! I feel amazingly blessed to have him.

I will just say about Bristol that I think her temperament was somewhat of a fluke regarding this litter. Styker is stable, patient, alert and protective yet does not have an ounce of desire to resource guard or act unreliable around strangers. The rest of the litter is this way too from what I have heard. We worked very hard with Bristol and socialized her to death but with three kids and her tendancy to guard things and act dominant, Stryker really was a much better fit and I am more comfortable all around. I absolutely could not ask for a better dog for our family and my boys LOVE him. Like I said, her temperament was not typical at all of this litter and this was a fantastic breeding so I am not sure where it came from. I am just incredibly thankful I chose a breeder who was willing to help me and work with me. And BTW, the sire is CH Pamelot's Shrek who I know has some other offspring on this board.

I'm sorry that Bristol didn't work out but, from what it sounds like, the right choice was probably made. Congrats on the new addition and I"m glad he is such a good fit.

That makes sense - I figured it was something along those lines.

Found this sweater at Target of all places for 10 bucks!! I am getting another in a bigger size as well because I love it and it was so cheap! He is the coldest dog I have ever had!! LOL
