Perhaps Mary, my breeder, can comment, but I'd call them show length. I think there's significant variety in the length of a show crop.

I usually like the medium crops best, but whatever type it is, it is looking great on top of that handsome little head! You must be so proud. |

| When we get our puppies cropped, we ask for a medium/long and we don't go all the way to the end like some breeders request. My husband just commented that we don't ask for the Bugs Bunny crop. ;-)

| What a precious little (erm, big) boy you have there.
Welcome Richter to the family, you will never have a moments peace on this forum, we will be wanting to hear of your adventures from now on.
I am sure Simon is looking down and giving him tips on how to be a naughty (I mean good) little boy for you.
Loving the pics. |

I really like the length and the shape. Your vet did a great job! "Bugs Bunny" is not a look I like in general either Thanks for the info, and thanks for providing this gorgeous little pup for MC, just when she needed him. Because of MC's generosity with her pics, we all get to enjoy the little guy!! |

| To me that is the most perfect ear crop. I don't like the trend of the thin super long ears. His are longer than medium but just right to me! He is so very handsome and a little stinker already I can see. Lucky you. |

He can be a little stinker (he loves to bark at Shanoa to try to get her to play, and he sometimes howls like a banshee in his crate), but he's actually remarkably easy-going for a puppy. He's the world's best snuggler. I confess that sometimes if we go out for a potty break early in the morning and we go back to bed I will put him in bed with us because he's so snuggly He's a really good puppy.

| Tonight Richter is going with me and Shanoa to Nosework class to meet my trainer and some of the other people in class (none of the dogs, though, since they are all reactive dogs!). He's been getting out and about meeting lots of people!
He's also already outgrown his dinosaur coat. I couldn't quite believe it, but he is certainly heavier when I pick him up I made him a new coat and I'll have to get a few pics for you all.

| Yah, I haven't gotten Jaina any fancy collars yet - probably not for another month or two, unless they're EXTREMELY adjustable. I'm glad the one I got happened to be a no-slip puppy collar, so I was able to leave it loose when I first picked it up and continue losening it.
I also feel like I need more pictures of Richter!

Congrats on the upcoming puppy...what breeder did you go with? I'm so glad you found someone good. I literally am blown away by the difference between a pup from a great breeder and from a bad breeder. My husband and I are constantly astonished by what it's like having Richter.
