We got some sleep...he was pretty good overnight, though occasionally would bark at the cats as they checked him out in his crate

I sure hope so...Simon was, and I loved it.

Mary and Jay were kind enough to meet us in the US, so I didn't have to cross the border, but Richter did! We live in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. We crossed three states both ways in two days

I'm sure Wicca is missing him...

We're going to try out a lot of things together and see what we like. For now, I'm focusing on keeping him out of trouble!

They had a nice play session this morning, but now she's realized he's staying and she's a little put out. We're keeping him on leash so we can keep him from pestering her too much.

Yes, I'm absolutely thrilled to have one of Mary and Jay's pups. I couldn't be happier. Having a Glengate pup has been a dream of mine for a couple of years and having the opportunity is just amazing.

Tired puppy is tired. He is reluctantly napping in his crate. He seems to think if no one else is crated he shouldn't be either He has a lovely, ear-splitting whine and a big bark. He finally fell asleep after he resigned himself to not getting me to let him out with all that noise.

He is such a sweetie. He's a good snuggler and gives lots of kisses.

There are a lot of things I want to try with him. Right now we're going to focus on the basics, though! I'm sure we'll give Rally a try, maybe a puppy agility class, who knows?

Wow MC, I can't believe you were able to keep this little gem a secret for so long! What fantastic news The photos are adorable, but please share video with us when you can! I hopped onto Glengate's website and love their philosophy..


"Our last litter was in 2008. We don't feel the need to have 3 or 4 litters a year, or even one sometimes. We usually take time between litters to see what we've actually done before racing on to the next litter. It's not about quantity here. When we have a litter, it's an event! We like to make sure we have time to be responsible for our puppies, and not so many of them that we can't easily support them and our owners.
It will probably be another 3 - 4 years (2015/2016) before we have our next litter. We will busy training, showing and trialing with the ones we have."
