Stupid mom, stupid puppy, both???

I've been sick, along with the rest of my family, with very little sleep the past few days but also very little time to spend with Jordan. He has been a dream to say the least. Such a good boy to make mommy proud.

I let him and Summer out a few minutes ago, make toast for my still sick kid and let Jordan in. Head to to red mud caked all over him. All over my dining room where I couldn't get it all off of him at the door. Then I let Summer in and she has mud caked on all the typical Jordan jump spots. She gets wiped down and thrown in garage because she is a two person job now with her arthritis. I hate bathing her at all really unless absolutely needed because it hurts her for days afterwards (the lifting in and out). So, Jordon got his and now is doing the wet dog run. And, I'm completely totally exhausted and just want some sleep finally.

I knew it was way too good to be true.

Aw, being sick sucks - I hope you and your family get better soon and hope that you are able to get some good sleep.

Sounds like Jordan was having some puppy fun - just couldn't resist the call of the mud! Sounds like he just wanted to play.

It rained hard today here, and this morning I had to pull Elli out in the pouring rain with an umbrella (that did no good with the wind whipping), just to get her to go potty. She eventually did go, but we both got drenched in the process. Now that it's stopped raining, the backyard is a huge mud puddle and I have towels waiting at the door for every entrance back into the house. This right after she had a bath yesterday and I was hoping that she'd be able to stay clean for awhile.... oh, well!

Sorry to hear you're sick. I hope you and your family feel better soon.

It seems like they pick the worst times to make you clean whether it be mud, trash, a potty break on your carpet, or any household item they choose to shred.

Sounds to me like you need a healthy dose of Nyquil and an evening to yoruself

I'm glad Rudi hates rainy weather.....I basically have to kick him (not hard....a little shove) where his man parts used to be to get him off the front porch to go out when the weather is yucky. He finds the first spot of grass pees and gets right back in. I caught him hiking his leg up on the house on the front porch once.....he did not like being called a bad boy.....so atleast now he darts out does his deed and runs back in.
No more pee ice sklating rinks on the front porch. :O)

Hope the worst of it is over and you get back to feeling better soon!
